Olan Mill is Alex Smalley and Svitlana Samoylenko and 'Pine' marks the first release for the two as collaborators. The album comprises ten instrumental pieces and between Smalley and Samoylenko we are treated to the sound of the piano, violin, pipe organ and guitar.
'Retold' is an apt title for this body of work, at times light and serene, other times dark, brooding and sinister - Nest are expert storytellers. Taking cues from film soundtracks and contemporary classical music, the story is woven using a myriad of instrumentation.
Westwind is a selection of tracks by Mentz, otherwise known as Stephan Raab. Stephan has roots with the legendary netlabel Tokyo Dawn Records and continues to write jazz blending found sound and live instrumentation.

Olan Mill have a microsite online where you can watch a video to the track 'A Heavy Leg Cycle' from the forthcoming album, 'Pine'. The video was made by Olan Mill and uses a mixture of motion and stop-motion film. A high resolution version of the video will be included in digital downloads come May 10th.
