Vital Contrast by Paul Oednom is a five track set of supine reflections on the ubiquity of interdependence. Background implies form, motion implies stasis, negative implies positive and a certain solace can be found in this idea. The resulting music has a kind of sombre optimism about it, occupying that contemplative conscious space that so many of us seek in present times.
